Welcome!

West Vancouver Recreation boasts a robust Health & Fitness program, specializing in Personal Training, Pilates, Yoga, Outdoor Cycling, Rehabilitation, Group Fitness and more! Each program is designed with your health and fitness needs in mind. We make it our goal to provide you with a welcoming and motivating environment, an invigorating experience and results that show!


Fitness centres

Fitness Centres (weight rooms) at the Aquatic Centre and Gleneagles Community Centre are now open for drop-ins. Pre-registration is no longer required. Pre-registration continues to be required for group fitness and Aquafit classes.

Masks must be worn at all times, except when actively exercising.

Aquatic Centre Fitness Centre

Monday to Friday
5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday:
6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
 

Gleneagles Fitness Centre

Monday to Thursday:
6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday:
6 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Saturday:
8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  


Fit Passes
All suspended Fit Pass memberships have been reactivated (effective Thursday, January 20).

Pre-registered Group Fitness (previously drop-in)

Sweating in a group is more fun!

Whether you’re just starting out or are looking for a challenge, you’ll find a fitness class that suits your needs. We offer classes at both the West Vancouver and Gleneagles Community Centres. Pre-registration is required. No equipment is provided.

Many of our group fitness classes are open to youth 16 years and older. Youth 13 to 15 years are welcome to participate with a guardian.

Registration for group fitness classes takes place every Wednesday for the programs beginning the following Monday at 8 a.m. for West Vancouver residents, and at 10 a.m. everyone is welcome to register.

Sessional Registered Fitness Programs

Sessional registered programs will now be up to 4 weeks in length. Registration will take place on a monthly basis. Some exceptions apply.* Registration begins at 8 a.m. for West Vancouver residents, and at 10 a.m. everyone is welcome to register.
