Adult Ice Basics
Whether you are a beginner skater, a bit rusty or would just like some help brushing up on your skills, this is the perfect course! Instructors will tailor the course to the participants. Drop-in $16.
Adult / Senior Skate
This is a public skating session for adults and seniors only. Bring your own music and skate with friends. Maintain your fitness over winter in a social and fun way! No coaching during these sessions. Regular drop-in rates apply.
This is a public skating session for singles figure skaters to come out and work on their jumps and spins, or simply just their footwork. No coaching during these sessions. Regular drop-in rates apply.
This is a public skating session that caters to skaters who want to work on their ice dance patterns. Compulsory dance music is played during these sessions. No coaching during these sessions. Regular drop-in rates apply.
Parent & Tot Drop-in Skate
Takes place on a reserved portion of the surface during pre-school lesson times. This is a great opportunity for parents to skate with their young children during a slower time. Fun equipment and music will be available during this time. Regular drop-in rates apply.
Intro to Preschool Hockey
A fun introduction to fundamental hockey and skating skills for preschool children. The minimum skating requirement for the child is passing First Stride or being able to skate the length of the ice without falling. Skaters will work on Level 1 skating skills as well as passing and shooting. Plastic sticks will be provided if needed. Full hockey gear is recommended but the minimum requirements for children are skates, helmet, gloves and knee and elbow pads. Skates and helmets are available for rent. Drop-in $16. Drop-ins welcome or register for the entire set. $14 per child.
Intro to Adult Hockey Skills (18 yrs+)
This co-ed class is for total hockey beginners. It is ideal for adults who want to learn hockey skills and are new skaters or those that can skate but have never had a stick in their hands before. Participants will learn the fundamentals of skating, passing, stick handling, and shooting. This is a basic class designed for true beginners only. Full gear recommended but the minimum requirements are gloves, stick, skates, and a helmet. Helmets and skates are available for rent. Drop-in $12.50.
Adult Co-ed Hockey Skills & Drills
This adult co-ed program offers hockey specific drills that focus on stick and skating skills and positional play. Fitness and general conditioning will also be developed. This class is great for those wanting to improve their game and get extra ice time. Goalies play for free. Full gear is required. Drop-in $12.50.
Noon Hour Adult Drop-in Hockey (18 years +)
This is a great co-ed lunch time opportunity to maintain a high level of fitness. To sign up, players must phone the Arena after 9 a.m. on the day they’d like to play. First come, first serve; Please call early as the spots fill up fast! Goalies play for free, please call for information on how to be added to the goalie list. Check in and pay prior to the session at the office. Drop-in $7.65.
Kids Stick and Puck (12 years and younger)
Designed to allow younger kids to feel comfortable practicing stick and puck skills on the ice. Any adults on the ice should be directly supervising a child on the ice and be respectful of this quieter opportunity. No hard shots . Parents who are on the ice must reserve a spot for themselves as well.
Open Stick and Puck (13 years +)
Drop-in opportunity to practice shooting and stick skills. Players must be minimum 13 years old or Pee Wee players with full gear. Helmet with a cage or visor, hockey gloves and hockey stick with plug are mandatory.
