Spring Fest West // May 7, 2022

Celebrate all things spring at Gleneagles Community Centre!

  • Enjoy music, food, a pottery sale, bouncy castles, a petting zoo, golf attractions, kids activities, and more at our annual spring festival.
  • Don't miss out on performances from our local schools and stay for a delicious barbecue by Whittall Real Estate.
  • Learn about the Urban Forest Management Plan, a plan to protect, enhance, and maintain the health of West Vancouver's urban forest over the next 15 years. Look for the Urban Forest Management Plan information booth from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to learn more about the plan, speak with staff, and share your input.
  • West Vancouver Fire & Rescue will be providing helpful tips on what it means to be FireSmart. By taking a few simple steps, you can significantly reduce fire hazards in your neighbourhood.

Bridge Festival // June 3 - June 4, 2022

It’s not too soon to start looking forward to West Vancouver’s Bridge Festival, taking place this summer at Ambleside Park on June 3 and 4.

Bridge Festival is a celebration of our community’s diversity, where you can enjoy cultural experiences, flavours from around the globe, and live performances from over 30 local and international performers.

Bridge Festival will follow all COVID-19 protocols, as set by the Provincial Health Officer.

Coast Salish Storytime // June 18, 2022

Coast Salish Storytime: Raven Seagull and the Daylight Box

June is Indigenous History Month in Canada. Join the Squamish Nation elder and an author, Lisa Lewis as she reads a Coast Salish legend: Raven Seagull and the Daylight Box. This family event will feature drumming, singing Squamish songs, and crafting a daylight box.

Suited for families with children ages 5 - 12, participating with their parents or caregivers
