Byte Camp: Intro to Coding

Discover how much fun it is to build your own game! Students will be introduced to basic coding skills with easy to drag-and-drop software, and get to use those skills to make their very own games. Students will also learn how to create their own 2D vector artwork to make characters and levels that are entirely their own. The final project is a game that you can take home or proudly share with your friends online.

Catapult Launcher Camp – Zen Maker Lab: Youth

These aren't your "run-of-the-mill" catapults out of popsicle sticks and glue - these are catapults designed to last and taken to a whole new level using custom-designed 3D printed parts, custom-designed laser cut wood, and fasteners. This camp is for those young makers interested in building things using 3D printers and laser cutters. Kids will learn fundamental skills and tools to begin working on their own engineering projects at home.

Golf Par 3

Golf Camps will cover the fundamentals of golf. Our main objective is to teach kids how to play the game of golf through fun golf related games and activities. Many aspects of the game will be explored such as; rules, etiquette, athletic movements, life skills, strategy and swing related skills. Camp runs rain or shine.

Pottery Spring Break Kids Camp

Explore the art of clay as you work on different projects each day in our half day pottery camp. We will make beautiful landmarks found around the world - magical castles, pyramids, adobe houses, garden pagodas and more. All supplies are included.

Jr Coding, Robotics, and Stop Motion Camp – Zen Maker Lab

We'll gain an understanding of computers "under the hood", and explore algorithms, sequencing, loops, conditionals, bugs and debugging using simplified drag-and-drop block coding. We'll take all that new knowledge and use it to work through challenges with "Dash and Dot", our programmable robots. We'll work as a group on and off the computers, and hopefully spark an interest in what makes the digital world work. Total beginners welcome.

LEGO® Introduction to Robotics Camp

This new LEGO® education camp features three new LEGO® Education Products: BricQ Motion Essential, SPIKE™ and SCRATCH. Children will learn about STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) while experimenting in this playful, hands-on learning experience.

LEGO® Intermediate to Advanced Robotics Camp

Watch as your LEGO® creations come to life with code! Participants will develop skills in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) as they are introduced wireless WeDo 2.0, LEGO® Boost Sets. Gradually progress to Mindstorms NXT 1.0, NXT 2.0, EV3. featuring working motors, sensors, and coding. Time permitting. a new LEGO® education kit called SPIKE™ will be introduced. No previous experience required. Mac Books and iPads will be supplied to program the LEGO® Robotic models created.

Saplings Outdoor Camp at Lighthouse Park

Every day at Saplings nature-based camps is a little bit different! Build fairy houses, shelters or forts, make nature art, and even create a bow and arrow! Play classic childhood games like survival, man hunt and capture the flag, hike to beautiful secret spots around Lighthouse Park and enjoy plenty of exploration, activity and fun!

Join us for an exploration of different instruments in this introductory music camp. We will bring stories to life with the piano, guitar, ukulele and percussion! No prior experience necessary and instruments are provided.
