REGISTRATION

Get into it again! Discover a world of recreation opportunities for all ages, interests, and abilities. 

Register online at activewestvanrec.ca.

Phone registration is also available at 604-925-7270.

Drop-in admission is now available for the Fitness Centre*, public swimming, and public skating. All other activities require pre-registration.

*The Fitness Centres at West Vancouver Community Centre (WVCC) and Gleneagles Community Centre (GECC) are currently closed, and indoor fitness classes are suspended in accordance with current provincial health orders. Please check back for updates.

REGISTRATION DATES & TIMES

Programs will be added on an ongoing basis and registration dates will be staggered by program type and area.

Registration days will be held on Wednesdays at 8 a.m. for West Vancouver residents, and at 10 a.m. everyone is welcome to register.

Monthly Registration

Sessional registered programs will now be between 4 and 7 weeks in length. Registration will take place on a monthly basis.
Some exceptions apply.*

  • Registration for programs starting in January opens on Wed, December 15
  • Registration for programs starting in February and March (including Spring Break) opens on Wed, January 19

Weekly Registration

For the following programs, registration takes place every Wednesday for programs beginning the following Monday:

Drop-ins 
Public drop-ins are available for:

  • Public Swim
  • Public Skate
  • Fitness Centre

NO SHOW FEE

COVID-19 restrictions have resulted in a very limited number of spots available each day for Fitness Centre workouts, public skates, group fitness classes, and Aquatic Centre swims. Because there is a very high demand for these spots, please let us know in advance (Ideally 24 hrs) when you are unable to attend so another person can take your spot.

A $5 no-show fee will be charged to your account for missed workouts, swims, skates, and group fitness classes that have not been cancelled within 24 hours of the start time.

Online: Click on the ‘My Account’ button on the website, then select ‘Transaction History.' All of your activities will show as well as a button that says ‘withdraw.' Click on the 'withdraw' button to un-enroll.
 

MEMBERSHIPS

Enhance West Van & Seniors’ Activity Centre Membership

An Enhance West Van membership is required for all programs and passes at the West Vancouver Aquatic Centre, Community Centre and Ice Arena. A current Seniors’ Activity Centre membership is required for member pricing for Seniors’ Activity Centre programs.

FitPass

Starting on December 23, 2021, all Fit Passes will be suspended until January 18, 2022, in accordance with current public health orders. 

All suspended Fit Passes will receive an extension for this time period. 

Patrons can choose to un-suspend their Fit Pass before January 19, 2022, to use it at the aquatic centre or ice arena by contacting our customer service team. To un-suspend your Fit Pass call 604-925-7270, send an email to [email protected], or stop by in person at any of our community centre front desks.
