Planned program and facility reopening and registration dates:

Pre-registration is required for access to all programs and facilities. Drop-ins are not permitted, with the exception of the West Vancouver Art Museum.

Planned opening dates are contingent upon the Province’s continued positive response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

June 29                
Sport fields open for sport user groups with permits.

July 6                    
Outdoor summer programs and camps, including fitness and yoga programs begin. Registration starts June 24.

July 6                    
Outdoor CycleFit classes begin at Gleneagles Community Centre. Registration starts June 30.

July 7                   
Youth Hub at Park Royal South reopens for a pre-registered pre-employment program and 1:1 prearranged youth outreach clients meetings.

July 8                   
West Vancouver Art Museum opens for drop-in visitors. Hours: Wed-Sat, 12-4 p.m.

July 13                 
Outdoor Personal Training begins. Book your session here.

July 13                 
Pottery Studio at Gleneagles Community Centre opens for pre-registered non-instructional timeslots for experienced adult potters. Registration starts July 8.

July 15                 
Fitness Centre at West Vancouver Community Centre (WVCC) and Gleneagles Community Centres (GECC) opens for 1-hour long pre-registered timeslots.  Registration starts July 8.

WVCC Hours: Mon-Fri, 6 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Sat, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; Sun closed.
GECC Hours: Mon-Sat, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.; Sun closed

July 20                 
Rehabilitation & Prehabilitation programs begin. Registration starts July 15.

West Vancouver Aquatic Centre

  • Fitness Centre opens for pre-registered timeslots on July 15

West Vancouver Ice Arena

  • Opens for pre-registered outdoor summer camps and programs on July 6
  • Opens for pre-registered indoor fitness classes on July 8
  • All other spaces remain closed

Gleneagles Community Centre

  • Opens for pre-registered outdoor summer programs on July 6
  • Fitness Centre opens for pre-registered timeslots on July 15
  • Pottery Studio opens for pre-registered non-instructional timeslots for experienced adult participants on July 13
  • All other spaces remain closed

Clubhouse at Gleneagles Golf Course

  • Closed

Seniors’ Activity Centre

  • Open for food take-out service available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily
  • Opens for pre-registered rehabilitation & prehabilitation programs on July 20
  • All other spaces remain closed

Ferry Building Gallery

  • Closed

West Vancouver Art Museum

  • Opens for drop-in visitors on July 8

Music Box

  • Closed

Silk Purse Studio & Gallery

  • Closed

Youth Hub at Park Royal South

  • Opens for a pre-registered pre-employment program and one-on-one prearranged youth outreach client meetings. The District of West Vancouver’s Pre-Employment program for youth is supported by the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and the West Vancouver Foundation.
