The Society’s community fundraising efforts through our signature PumpkinFest event (mark your calendars for October 1st and 2nd, 2016), Brick campaign, and other donations allow us to work in tandem with the District of West Vancouver to support the enhancement of programs, services, and equipment at the Civic Site. To date the Society has raised over $375,000 and already this year has continued to fund innovative programs such as Movement Therapy and Camp Buddies, and provided enhanced equipment for the Aquatic Centre and Cypress Corner childcare. Through your contributions to the Society you are directly supporting the provision of exceptional and unique services in the heart of West Vancouver.

The extensive network of programs and services provided at our facilities could not be delivered without the passion and dedication of our world-class staff, volunteers, committee members, and Board of Directors. I want to acknowledge all of their efforts—it truly is a team sport to make certain that all of our guests enjoy an optimal experience. Thank you to all of you who contribute every day to making the activities at this wonderful civic site shine so brightly.

Finally, a huge note of thanks to Alastair Nimmons, our past chair, and the outgoing Board members for their tireless work in making the West Vancouver Community Centre an even better place to be.

We welcome your feedback, and encourage you to share your ideas as to how our programs and services can evolve to meet the needs of our community—please contact wvccs@westvancouver.ca if you would like to give back to your community by becoming a Society donor or volunteer.
