West Vancouver Recreation boasts a robust Health & Fitness program, specializing in Personal Training, Pilates, Yoga, Outdoor Cycling, Rehabilitation, Group Fitness and more! Each program is designed with your health and fitness needs in mind. We make it our goal to provide you with a welcoming and motivating environment, an invigorating experience and results that show!


Fitness Centres

The Fitness Centres at West Vancouver Community Centre (WVCC) and Gleneagles Community Centre (GECC) are currently closed, and indoor fitness classes are suspended in accordance with current provincial health orders.

Pre-registered Group Fitness (previously drop-in)

Sweating in a group is more fun!

Whether you’re just starting out or are looking for a challenge, you’ll find a fitness class that suits your needs. We offer classes at both the West Vancouver and Gleneagles Community Centres. Pre-registration is required. No equipment is provided.

Registration for group fitness classes takes place every Wednesday for the programs beginning the following Monday at 8 a.m. for West Vancouver residents, and at 10 a.m. everyone is welcome to register.

Sessional Registered Fitness Programs

Sessional registered programs will now be up to 4 weeks in length. Registration will take place on a monthly basis. Some exceptions apply.* Registration begins at 8 a.m. for West Vancouver residents, and at 10 a.m. everyone is welcome to register.

FitPass Information

Starting on December 23, 2021, all Fit Passes will be suspended until January 18, 2022, in accordance with current public health orders. 

All suspended Fit Passes will receive an extension for this time period. 
Patrons can choose to un-suspend their Fit Pass before January 19, 2022, to use it at the aquatic centre or ice arena by contacting our customer service team. To un-suspend your Fit Pass call 604-925-7270, send an email to [email protected], or stop by in person at any of our community centre front desks. 

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we continue to navigate this ever-changing environment, and as we do our best to keep everyone safe.

West Vancouver Aquatic Centre | Fitness Centre
Located on the 2nd floor of the Aquatic Centre the Fitness Centre and is equipped with a variety of state-of-the-art workout equipment including ellipticals, treadmills, bikes and more—there’s something to meet the needs of every fitness level. No need to be intimidated—our weight room attendants are always happy to assist!

Gleneagles Community Centre | Fitness Centre
Located on the 2nd floor of the Gleneagles Community Centre, the Fitness Centre offers a range of state-of-the-art cardio and selectorized strength training equipment, free weights and a stretch area to make your workout complete. Pre-register for a workout today!
